My name is David Cesareo, I am a Mixer/Freelance Audio Engineer. I currently work in ShangriLA as a production assistant. I fell in love with music at an early age, I took piano lessons, then guitar lessons, but dropped them after a couple weeks. I didn’t like the conventional way of learning from a book! I taught myself how to play and follow some of my favorite records. After 2 years of working towards my GE Degree at Santa Monica College, I found LARS where I was shown the different side of the music... Audio!

Working while learning some of the consoles that school only talked about was so surreal to me, fueling my passion even more for wanting to know more about these consoles that artist like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Jackson Browne recorded on. Working at ShangriLA and Groove Masters has been a blessing allowing me to be close to the gear and learn how to use it. From my favorite Neve 8078 to my other favorite A.P.I Console, I want to help others bring out their best and feel comfortable letting go and allowing me to further enhance their vision of perfection!
